OEM Movements:
Northwest Machine in Rogers, MN is one of our newest OEM’s. We are very excited to bring them on board. They’re a distributor of Star, Mazak Machines and Fanuc Robotics, coupled with a skilled sales team and applications department.

Distributor Spotlight:
Not only is PTS (Production Tool Supply), one of single largest remaining privately held industrial distributors, but they are one of Micro 100’s very first fully authorized distributors. PTS first opened in 1951 by a now Industry icon, Dan Kahn. The company was purchased by Mr. Larry Wolfe, Owner, President & CEO.  He was quick to point out that to this very day, the PTS business model is unique, un-wavering, and takes great dedication at all levels to achieve the success they have. Mr. Wolfe has such people, immensely devoted employees, from top to bottom. In recent years Mr. Wolfe hit the acquisition trail, following Horrace Greeley’s advice, Mr. Wolfe went to the West Coast where he acquired the high profile and highly respected Marshall Tool, headquartered in Chatsworth, with large physical operations and presence throughout Southern CA, Phoenix, and Seattle. Prior to this they also acquired the long-standing and highly respected NNT Corporation. Adding to this long market reach was their first acquisition of Rex Supply, also having multiple branch store locations throughout all of Texas and Louisiana. All in all, Mr. Wolfe is pleased with his company’s performance, growth and tremendous reputation, but Mr. Wolfe made it a point to say “any business having any level of success needs to have people at all levels performing and doing so with pride and dedication.

Micro 100 VP appointed to Governor’s Task Force:
Craig Graf, VP of Manufacturing, Micro 100 has been appointed by the Governor’s Office to a Workforce Development Task Force. The task force is assigned to identify and advance the most effective ways for Idaho to aggressively pursue our goals of education, and prepare more Idahoans for productive careers while addressing the growing employer demand for skilled workers.

Team Customer Service:
Our team is very committed to having excellent customer service!
On site at the factory the customer service team is surrounded by people that have a vast amount of experience between them.
At any given time of the day we have access to a quality lab and an engineering team. The engineering team is readily available for any technical application questions that customer service cannot answer. Engineering offers great support to customer service and has spent a great deal of time training customer service about how our tools work.
Our quality assurance lab is also available to troubleshoot. Just the other day our QA manager Rob, gave a demonstration on how an optical comparator is dialed in to measure angles. This demo allowed customer service to understand the process and help answer a common question.
The president of Micro 100, Dale Newberry sits right down the hall from the customer service team.
Dale is always available for questions and has answered many for customer service over the years.
Dale, quality assurance, and engineering are able to answer any question that might come up from a distributor or an end user. They are just steps away.
